A shortage of teachers and changing values in society call for new measures in the field of education. A group of stakeholders from music education institutions met for the third time at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg to further develop strategies and measures.

The Platform for Historical Politics at the Mozarteum University Salzburg invites participation in the academic examination of the university's political past, particularly during the periods of Austrofascism, National Socialism and the post-war era.

The Ö1 Talentebörse Composition Prize in the amount of 10,000 euros is awarded by Ö1 and the Oesterreichische Nationalbank (OeNB) and will be announced for the eleventh time in 2026. The composition prize is a composition commission for a chamber music work, which may also include electronics.
