Brass, wind & percussion studies

At the heart of the Department of Wind and Percussion Instruments is an internationally renowned faculty that includes renowned soloists and musicians from leading ensembles. They act as pedagogues, role models and mentors for their students, who also have numerous opportunities to participate in one or more ensembles. Numerous graduates are prize winners in international competitions and have engagements in ensembles and orchestras.

Team Teaching Days

Invitation for all students of the department (also with chamber music partners from other departments) to actively participate In the winter semester 2022/23, the Department of Wind & Percussion Instruments will start a pilot project and offer three public "Team Teaching Masterclasses" with two teachers of the department each during the academic year.
