Guido Marggrander
Guido Marggrander (*1964 in Karlsruhe) studied musicology and percussion at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe with Hans-Jörg Bayer and Jürgen Heinrich. 1989-1997 he was 1st percussionist in the radio orchestra of the Südwestfunk, the current Deutsche Radio-Philharmonie, since 1997 he plays in the symphony orchestra of the Bayerischer Rundfunk. 2004-2019 Guido Marggrander taught percussion at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover. Since 2018 he teaches at the Universität Mozarteum, since 2019 as university professor.
