Information on applying

General requirements: Proficiency in spoken and written German and English to the extent necessary for the respective position.
Relocation allowance for international applicants: In accordance with the Austrian Income Tax Act, an attractive relocation allowance (Zuzugsfreibeitrag) may be granted for appointments to professorships in Austria during the first five years. The requirements are checked by the tax office on a case-by-case basis. The application must be submitted within 6 months of moving to Austria.
