Noriko Shima studied concert piano with Emiko Harimoto at the Tokyo College of Music and with Noel Flores at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. She is a prizewinner of the PTNA Piano Competition in Japan and has performed with various instruments as a chamber musician in Japan, Austria, Germany, Hungary and Italy. Together with Hans Gansch and Mathias Höfs, she recorded the CD "Gansch meets Höfs" Since 1999, she has worked as a répétiteur at the Mozarteum University.
