Andreas Öttl
Andreas Öttl (*1974 in St. Anton am Arlberg) began his musical career in the local music band, with which he is still active today. After a first engagement with the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg, he became first solo trumpet in the Bavarian State Orchestra in 2002 and has since been a member of OperaBrass, the brass section of the Bavarian State Opera. He has already been a guest at the Salzburg Festival and the Rheingau Music Festival, and in 2013 he played with the Bavarian State Orchestra at the "Peace Concert for Kashmir" in Srinagar at the request of Zubin Mehta. From 2005-2014 Öttl was a lecturer in orchestral position training, and in 2015 he became a university professor of trumpet. He also plays the 1st flugelhorn in the "perger blech".
