Yuka Katori

Yuka Katori (b. 1978 in Osaka) studied piano performance at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, graduating with distinction. She was awarded grants by the Gonda Weiner Foundation (2007) and the Nomura International Cultural Foundation (2008/2009), and is a prizewinner of several competitions. Concert tours have taken her throughout Austria, to Germany, Italy, Romania, Sweden, the UK and Japan. In addition to her numerous solo performances, she is also an active chamber musician. Yuka Katori previously worked as an accompanist and collaborative pianist at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, and has held the same position at the Mozarteum University since 2015.
