Alexey Zuev began playing the piano at the age of seven at the St. Petersburg Music School before continuing in the pre-college programme there. He made his debut with the Philadelphia Orchestra in 2014. He has taken part in various masterclasses and has performed as a soloist at the “Music Camp” in Toblach, South Tyrol. He has received artistic grants from both the Bösendorfer Piano Factory and the Herbert von Karajan Centre Vienna. From 2000 to 2009 he studied with Alexei Lubimov at the Mozarteum University, where he has been a lecturer and accompanist since 2009.
