Albert Osterhammer

Albert Osterhammer received his first clarinet lessons at the Grassau Music School, where he later taught. His first professional appointment came in 1992, where he began work at the Frankfurt Opera in as bass clarinettist. In the same capacity, he has been a sought-after chamber music partner with the Munich Philharmonic since 1995 and performs a large number of chamber concerts. Albert Osterhammer teaches at the Mozarteum University and in the Orchestra Academy of the Munich Philharmonic. In addition to his orchestral and teaching activities, he is involved in encouraging young musical talent in his hometown of Bernau am Chiemsee, where he also conducts the local wind orchestra.
