Daniel Bonvin

Swiss musician Daniel Bonvin completed his trombone studies with Branimir Slokar at the Musikhochschule Bern. He is a prize winner of several international competitions (including Vercelli and Toulon) and won the Swiss Soloist Prize (AM S-Basel) in 1986. At the age of only 17, he was engaged as principal trombonist with the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra, and as a soloist he subsequently performed with major orchestras including the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, the Lausanne Chamber Orchestra, and the Bern Symphony Orchestra. Daniel Bonvin is a founding member of the Munich Trombone Quartet as well as a member of Bob Ross' "Blechschaden" ensemble.
