Daniel Bonvin
Swiss trombonist Daniel Bonvin studied with Branimir Slokar at the Musikhochschule Bern. He is a prizewinner of several international competitions (including the Vercelli and the Toulon) and won the Swiss Soloist Prize (AM S-Basel) in 1986. At the age of just 17, he was appointed principal trombonist of the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra. As a soloist, he went on to perform with major orchestras, including the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, the Lausanne Chamber Orchestra, and the Bern Symphony Orchestra. Daniel Bonvin is a founding member of the Munich Trombone Quartet as well as a member of Bob Ross' "Blechschaden" ensemble.
