    On March 5, ARCOENSEMBLE will present five world premieres as part of the concert “sinews and flesh.” The ensemble's pianist and Mozarteum University alumna Alba Llorach Roca and young composer Yannai Schrire talk in an interview about what makes contemporary music so special, the intensive collaboration between instrumentalists and composers during rehearsals, and give us an insight into the creative process behind their own compositions.

    ASEA Uninet Call 2026 

    The ASEAN-European Academic University Network (ASEA-UNINET) was founded in 1994 and is currently made up of over 80 universities in around 20 countries. The aim of the university network is to promote research and teaching activities between the member universities in Europe and Southeast Asia (in Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Pakistan, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam).

    First prize for Xunyue Zhang 

    Twenty violinists from 17 countries gathered at the International Mozart Competition in the violin category from February 6 to 12 at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg. First prize went to Xunyue Zhang, second prize to Yuki Serino, and third prize to Maxim Tzekov.
