News … Home News 2021-10-04_Culture poster award for Mozartform poster Salzburg Cultural Poster Award 2021 for the Mozart Forum 04.10.2021 News First prize for the University Mozarteum for the best classical one-sheet poster! We are very happy about the first prize for the special mirror poster for the Mozartforum 2021. This year, for the 15th time, the cultural poster prize, which has become an institution, was awarded by the City and Province of Salzburg, ORF Landesstudio Salzburg and Progress Werbung. The award ceremony at the ORF Landesstudio took place for the first time in the TV Garden and was musically accompanied by the Moser Trio. "Silver sparkles a reflective surface of the advertising pillar / triangular stand towards you. On it in heavy pink a sprayed sign, a 'tag'. Both irritate and attract attention. This in its entire form unusual and convincing design of a poster was unanimously awarded first place of this year's cultural poster award by the jury," says Eva Möseneder about the jury's reasoning.

In a competition organized by Segafredo Zanetti Austria, students from the Department of Fine Arts and Design at the Mozarteum University are designing the first collection of cups for enjoying coffee at home, which will be launched when the company's own online store goes live in summer 2022.

After a break due to corona, the Department of Fine Arts and Design is finally opening its workshops and studios again: from April 6 to 8, interested parties will have the opportunity to gain insights into the diverse work of young artists and to try their hand at numerous workshops. Concerts and performances round off the program. The Tour 2022 will be accompanied by a charity art sale for Ukraine.

On Thursday, June 23, 2022, the award ceremony of the design competition for the first Segafredo "At Home" cup collection took place at the Segafredo Zanetti roasting plant in Hallwang. Participants as well as jury members of the competition were guests.

The Ö1 Talent Scholarship for Visual Arts in the amount of 10,000 euros, provided by Wiener Städtische Versicherungsverein, is being offered by Ö1 for the 16th time this year. The prize serves to promote young talent among students at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, the University of Applied Arts Vienna, the Linz University of Art and the Mozarteum University.

The Mozarteum University mourns the passing of Matthias Herbst, Professor Emeritus of Art Education, a dedicated pioneer in art education and a highly esteemed colleague.

After registering in MOZonline, you will initially be placed on the waiting list. The ranking is based on the time of registration. If you are absent more than 6 times, you will receive a fail grade for the course (and thus no ECTS points). If you arrive later than 15 minutes after class begins or leave earlier than 15 minutes before class ends, you will be considered to have missed the entire class. To continue a course in the next semester, the following rule applies: You must have passed the previous course, or your must pass the placement test in the first session. Why learn German? It is important that you learn German if you study at the Mozarteum University, even if your studies do not require the course.
