Erik Hable works with a wide variety of media and realizes his artistic projects in the form of spatial installations. These mostly emerge and exist in the context of a concrete location within a specific period of time in confrontation or collaboration with the people on site. In his work, the visual artist focuses on collaborative, participatory and process-based projects. The artistic practice in the collective Alpine Gothic , of which he is a co-founder, places the content space of the Alpine in the focus of the confrontation. Erik Hable is chairman of the board of Galerie 5020; Fellowships abroad have taken him to Chicago, Melbourne, Paris, Frankfurt, Budapest, Warsaw, Montpellier and Mexico City.
