Natalie Forester

Natalie Forester is an actress and acting coach with extensive experience in spoken theatre and opera. She has appeared at theatres across Germany and has taught acting in the MA Opera programme at the Mozarteum University Salzburg since 2017. In addition to her stage work, she teaches stagecraft for singers at several leading German-speaking music universities.

Natalie Forester studied acting at the Hochschule für Musik Saar and the Bayerische Theaterakademie August Everding. From 2004 to 2008, she was a member of the ensemble of the Mainfranken Theater Würzburg, where her portrayal of Nora in Henrik Ibsen’s A Doll's House earned her the Best Actress Award at the Bavarian Theatre Festival in 2007. From 2012 to 2016, she was a member of the ensemble of the Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern, appearing in productions including The Oresteia, West Side Story, and Much Ado About Nothing.

She has also appeared as a guest artist at the Residenztheater Munich, Grillo-Theater, Junges Ensemble Stuttgart, and the Saarländisches Staatstheater.

Alongside her acting career, Forester has developed a particular focus on working with singers. As an acting coach, she has collaborated on opera productions at Mainfranken Theater Würzburg, Theater Koblenz, and the Staatsoper Stuttgart. She has taught at the Hochschule für Musik Saar, the Opera School of the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart, the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts, and the University of Music Würzburg.
