Elisabeth Grain
MA BSc
Elisabeth Grain works as a physiotherapist, cellist and mental coach. She combines the expertise of these three disciplines in the Musicians' Health - Physiotherapy for Musicians programme. She specialises in hand rehabilitation, musculoskeletal complaints and ease on stage/performance coaching.
Elisabeth Grain studied cello performance and cello pedagogy at Mozarteum University Salzburg, the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and the Sibelius Academy Helsinki. She is a passionate orchestral musician and performs with orchestras including the Helsinki Radio Symphony Orchestra, Lapland Chamber Orchestra, Mozarteum Orchestra and Camerata Salzburg. In addition to her instrumental studies, Elisabeth Grain studied physiotherapy in Brussels and Salzburg and trained as a mental coach.
She finds a balance to her everyday life on her bike, in clowning and on the slackline.
