Moz-Art-Zone: Offers for schools in the winter semester 2024/25
As part of the Moz-Art-Zone, we link special events for school classes to the broad spectrum of university programmes and thus want to give children and young people access to music, art and culture. The focus is on young people meeting (young) artists who offer an insight into the artistic work of the various departments at the Mozarteum University. The Moz-Art-Zone offers a colourful mix of activities, from a visit to the opera with an artist talk and theatre laboratory to special educational concerts and hands-on workshops in the graphics workshop.

A panel of high-profile experts from academia and industry discussed the potential of quantum-based technologies – and the profound changes and transformations they are likely to bring about for us as a society in the future.

    From STEM to STEAM
Building on the experience of the two previous funding periods, in which most partner organisations were already involved, transfer formats in the STEAM area are being developed for the target groups of employees at the knowledge and technology transfer interfaces, researchers, students, graduates and stakeholders in the (creative) economy. The aim here is to build bridges between STEM disciplines and the artistic-creative sector.

    Working Borders
Even in a hyper-eroticized society, hardly any topic is as polarizing as sex work. Whether in feminist debates, political disputes or in private conversations: everyone has an opinion about it. In Johanna Mayrhofer's master's project, sex work as a topic that has always been on the borders of our society is moved from the outskirts to the center of Salzburg in the form of an interactive audio walk.

Cityscape Hong Kong – Salzburg: Dramaturgy of Cityscape
What is the sound and rhythm of a city? How do people meet in this or another place? Where do they feel free? How does urban architecture inscribe itself into our bodies? How do we walk in the city? What does the climate of a city feel like? How does the memory of a city work? And what happens when we relate our experiences with these questions in places as different as Hong Kong and Salzburg?

Her family also has no information about her health condition so far and is not allowed to visit her. Our thoughts are with her and we wish her a speedy and full recovery.
