Rahel Nora Arbogast

Rahel Arbogast is a qualified music teacher and early childhood educator with extensive leadership and project experience in educational and cultural contexts. Her work focuses on team development, process facilitation, interdisciplinary collaboration and the design of music education programmes for diverse target groups. In her role in the Human Resources Development and Family Services Office at Mozarteum University Salzburg, she brings together expertise from the fields of culture, education and social affairs.

Alongside her work at Mozarteum University Salzburg, Rahel Arbogast is pursuing a part-time doctorate in music education at the Munich University of Music and Performing Arts. Her research examines the impact of music education interventions in the context of ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder). She also works as a teacher of elementary music.

Rahel Arbogast completed a master’s degree in Elementary Music and Movement Education at Mozarteum University Salzburg. She subsequently worked as a freelance project coordinator and organiser in the fields of music education and culture. In addition, she received private vocal training from, among others, Kjellaug Tesaker and Maraile Lichdi.

Before moving into the cultural and higher education sector, she managed a daycare centre for several years, worked in adult education, and gained extensive experience as an early childhood educator.
