Staff Development & Family Services
Staff development in the university context is the key to building a bridge between the university of the future and the personnel of today. A steady expansion of knowledge and skills in the competence areas of work technology, digitality, communication, interaction and the social dimension, as well as leadership and management, is required to meet the changing demands of the university landscape.

Staff development and family service offerings support university staff to:
- better explore their own strengths and weaknesses and thus make more conscious decisions that allow them to realise their full potential
- develop self-regulation skills, empathy and interpersonal skills as a basis for good interpersonal relationships, effective communication and a positive work environment.
- continuously enhance leadership and management skills. Conscious decision-making is a vital tool for better performance in creative conflict resolution, effective communication and leadership roles.
- develop resilience and stress management strategies. This is especially important in a fast-paced and demanding work environment to promote personal well-being, and thus be a role model for staff, colleagues, and students.
- develop strategies for maintaining a good work-life balance, especially over the course of one's career, and to anchor these consciously and sustainably.
Staff Development at the Mozarteum University Salzburg sees itself as an information and exchange platform to support and strengthen employees in their professional development right from the start of their career.
