Senior Lecturer for Music Dramatic Design

Alumnus Rupert Pföß has been working as a music teacher at Musikum Salzburg since 1996 and has been head of the folk music and harmonica department since 2012. He is also an extended board member of the Salzburger Volksliedwerk. His busy seminar and jury activities at various music weeks and music competitions enrich his everyday life as a musician time and again. 

Lecturer in the Theory of DTT Education

At the national competition for German-speaking drama students in Frankfurt, the final year of the Thomas Bernhard Institute at the Mozarteum University won several prizes for its production of Elfriede Jelinek's "The Silent Girl". In addition to the Swiss Ensemble Prize and the Audience Prize/Students' Prize, we are delighted to have won two solo prizes for Payam Yazdani and Joyce Mayne Sanhá.

After a two-year break, we present ourselves in all our diversity.

The Sir Ian Stoutzker Prize, endowed with 20,000 euros, honors the outstanding student personality in the competition who knows how to convince with musical creative power, poetry and unique charisma. In 2023 it will be awarded in the categories string and wind instruments.
