The Institute of Chamber Music coordinates everything relating chamber music. This includes all curricular matters (from compulsory lessons to the introduction of a master's degree in chamber music), the foundation of a chamber orchestra and the expansion of exchange programmes with other music institutions.

The Institute for contemporary music organises all events in the field of Contemporary Music that are relevant for academic studies, from the supervision of individual students to collaborations between several classes, departments and other internal and external institutions.

At the Institute for Open Arts, unusual methods and different ways of thinking can open up innovations and new dimensions in art and academic scholarship. The Institute is home to the PhD programme in Artistic Research, and further study programmes and offers are currently being developed.
