Health Services for Students

Engaging in artistic activity is, for most, not just a profession but a calling, and it continuously demands peak physical and mental performance. Tension, pain, postural damage, as well as mental strains like performance anxiety or uncertainty about the future are not uncommon and pose additional challenges.
In addition to various subjects embedded in the curriculum, the University Mozarteum supports the long-term physical and mental well-being of its students with additional offerings such as individual coaching and collaborations with external organizations. Elective courses and a rotating selection of programs offered by the Career Center also address these topics from multiple angles.
Working with professionals from the fields of medicine, psychology, bodywork, and physiotherapy, the emphasis is placed especially on prevention.
The focus is on maintaining health and well-being, to proactively counteract and sustainably prevent occupational illnesses.
