There was a lot of discussion, ideas were developed and new networks were formed: the Spot On MozART Workshop Days 2022 took place on May 6 and 7 at the Zistelalm on the Gaisberg and were dedicated to the topics of innovation, visualization, research and the Spot On Moment based on Mozart's music. Continuation of Opera out of Opera: Don Giovanni in Rome, Così fan tutte in Porto, Le nozze di Figaro in Stockholm and La Bohème in Oslo and Salzburg. What began in 2018 under the project title Opera out of Opera will be continued across Europe from 2023 to 2025. Co-funded by the European Commission's Creative Europe program, Opera out of Opera II builds on the results of the first project period - with the aim of developing innovative opera formats for new target groups.

Parklets to linger, for people and bees: On June 28, two parklets were opened in the city of Salzburg, one of which is TO BEE, a project by students at the Department of Fine Arts & Design (Design: Technik.Textil).

After the Senate and the University Council of the University Mozarteum Salzburg announced the re-election of Rector Prof.in Elisabeth Gutjahr in February 2021, her team was also re-elected in May 2021. At the beginning of 2025, Florentine Klepper and Kai Röhrig's opera class at the Mozarteum University will bring Christian Jost's ‘Dichterliebe’ to the stage. The two set designers Carla Schwering and Yvonne Schäfer talk about the ideas and realisation of their visions for the stage design.

How do we change perspectives when things and people become strangers to us? The performance OUBLIEZ - WHO(N) WE FORGET focuses on the 'in-between spaces' where communication takes place - between those affected, care staff and relatives - and tries to capture what happens to people who "disappear without being lost".

7 world premieres and all works composed by Mozart in 1791, the year of his death. This is the ambitious program that the newly founded Mozart Forum of the Mozarteum University has set itself for 2021, starting with a production of the opera "La clemenza di Tito," which will premiere on February 1 without an audience, but in a livestream.
