Christopher Lindinger is an innovation researcher, computer scientist and cultural manager. He was co-founder of the Futurelab at Ars Electronica in Linz and co-director of the Ars Electronica Media Lab until he was appointed Vice Rector at JKU Linz in 2019. On October 1, 2023, he will take up a professorship for Art & Digitality at the Mozarteum University.

Application until 7 May: The competition was launched by the Mozarteum University in 2015 and is aimed at young musicians under the age of 23. To kick off the 2022/23 summer semester, the Mozarteum University is launching a new corporate design. The centerpiece is a "monumental" typography and a university website that is intended to inspire as well as inform as a digital communication port. The development process was accompanied by the two renowned digital agencies Dept (concept) and Pixelart (development).

The Hengqin International Mozart Competition for Young Musicians 2026 (Piano) will take place between 30 October and 10 November this year. Registrations are open until 31 May 2026.
