The University Mozarteum will conclude the three major anniversaries of the Orff Year with an extensive festive weekend from July 2 to 4, 2021. This year's RCM Award Ceremony took place on 11 November 2025 in the Faistauer Hall. Senate Chair Christoph Lepschy opened the event and emphasised the guiding principle of the Research Competition Mozarteum: openness to all disciplines, fields of study, career levels and alumni. Since 2019, this internal research funding instrument has contributed to establishing a diverse research culture at the university.

After a break due to corona, the Department of Fine Arts and Design is finally opening its workshops and studios again: from April 6 to 8, interested parties will have the opportunity to gain insights into the diverse work of young artists and to try their hand at numerous workshops. Concerts and performances round off the program. The Tour 2022 will be accompanied by a charity art sale for Ukraine.

In the internationally oriented Pre-College, talented young people are given the best possible support at an early stage and receive comprehensive preparation for music studies as well as for a later artistic career.
