    ars docendi 2025 state prize for teaching excellence bernhard gwiggner 
    The artist and art pedagogue Ao. Univ.-Prof. MMag. Bernhard Gwiggner has been awarded the 2025 Ars Docendi prize for teaching excellence by the Austrian state. The interdisciplinary cooperation "tradition2go: zwischen kultur und wahnsinn" ("between culture and madness") was a collaboration during the 2023/34 academic year between the Sculpture Class at the Mozarteum University and the Salzburg Museum. The project went hand in hand with the exhibition "Masks, Traditional Costumes, Cult Objects - 100 Years of Folk Culture" at the Salzburger Monatsschlössl Hellbrunn.

    The only voice teacher Cecilia Bartoli has ever had is her mother, the soprano Silvana Bartoli Bazzoni. We are delighted to announce that from 4 to 8 August 2025, professional singers of all voice types will have the unique opportunity to work personally with Silvana Bartoli Bazzoni on ‘fundamental principles of vocal technique - the basis of a long singing life’ in a masterclass as part of the International Summer Academy at Mozarteum University.     Christiaan Willemse wins Ö1 Talent Exchange Composition Prize 2025 
    The Ö1 Composition Prize 2025, endowed with 10,000 euros, goes to the young composer Christiaan Willemse. He is studying composition in the postgraduate programme with Johannes Maria Staud at the Mozarteum University and impressed the jury with his personal and technically advanced works and compositional flair - congratulations!

    News … Home News Noise of silence / Moving Kitchen Scenography Tour 2021 02.07.2021 Student project © Sam Beklik The Department of Scenography presents as part of the extended tour 2021: Noise of Silence - just the worst time of the year for a revolution filmic Works / Media Installations / Visual Interventions. Art in motion: moving kitchen The student works from the Fundamentals of Film, the Medial Text Lab and the two film majors Lockdown Diary and Mein Drama hat nicht statt, an examination of Heiner Müller's Hamlet Machine will be presented in and around the Barockmuseum, Imbergstraße and on three evenings at changing locations in the moving kitchen. On July 2, 3, and 4 at 9:00 p.m., the moving kitchen will become moving cinema and show the filmic works open air. And ... how do white old men actually smell? A collage-like scenic work about the attempt at a dialogue - Master's project from the Applied Theatre degree course.
