    A shower of prizes for the final year drama class for Jelinek's ‘The Silent Girl’ 
    At the national competition for German-speaking drama students in Frankfurt, the final year of the Thomas Bernhard Institute at the Mozarteum University won several prizes for its production of Elfriede Jelinek's "The Silent Girl". In addition to the Swiss Ensemble Prize and the Audience Prize/Students' Prize, we are delighted to have won two solo prizes for Payam Yazdani and Joyce Mayne Sanhá.

    Music and Sound Beyond the Human: This conference aims to contribute to this ongoing development, and to put special emphasis on the ethical and political dimensions that come into play in regard of other-than-human creativity and aesthetics. Submissions from all musicological (sub-)disciplines are welcome, as well as from the music-related domains in neighboring scholarly and scientific disciplines and in interdisciplinary fields like human-animal studies, critical animal studies, critical plant studies, multispecies ethnography, and AI music studies.

    On July 16, this year's edition of the top-class French-Austrian Academy of Composition came to a successful close in Marseille with four concerts. For the first time, the prize winners of the International Mozart Competition were invited to Marseille and performed in the concerts.

    The Knowledge Transfer Centre West has set itself the goal of sustainably intensifying and professionalising knowledge transfer through joint actions and measures, tapping into exploitation potential, deepening and broadening cooperation with the economy but also with society as a whole, pursuing transdisciplinary and innovative approaches and using possible synergies to achieve these goals. The Kommunikations.Hub draws on the results of the first call for proposals "Awareness and Accompanying Measures" of the first funding period of the STC. In addition to already established measures within the terms "networking", "knowledge and technology transfer", especially the work package "innovation space" offers new projects. The further training offers - "Transfer Hubs" - designed in cooperation with the WTZ Ost offer spaces of opportunity in the thematic fields of "Post-Grad Life" and "Innovation Matters".

We've stepped out of comfort zones, questioned images of masculinity and dissected vulnerabilities, owned wide leather chairs, discussed talk shows, speech share, mansplaining, manspreading and clichés in them. And ... how do white old men actually smell? A collage-like scenic work about the attempt at a dialogue - Master's project from the Applied Theatre degree course.
