X participants, X directors on X dates with X theater ideas, people interested in theater, theater enthusiasts, theater novices meet students of the Applied Theatre - artistic theater practice & society program. Everyone tries out together, some in playing, others in directing.

In the WS 2023, the MA Applied Theater – artistic theater practice & society focuses on practices of artivism, performativity and the inscription of one’s own biography in (artistic) work and society.

The play deals with transgenerational remembering in the form of collected stories of the ((great-)grand-))parents and the confrontation with what they have experienced. The idea is to be able to influence future events by dealing with the past.

The first winners of the 15th International Mozart Competition have been announced. The 1st prize in the string quartet category and the traditional special prize of the Mozarteum Foundation for the best interpretation of a string quartet by W. A. Mozart go to the Arete Quartet, the 2nd prize to the Affinity Quartet and the 3rd prize to the Eden Quartet.
