Europe's first remote orchestra The commissioning of a "European Symphony" marks the start of a wide-ranging research project that combines digital technology and classical music in a new way: Musicians in 12 different locations will use innovative technology to overcome physical distances and perform a joint concert for symphony orchestra and large chorus. "Co-CreART. Co-Creating Change!" nominated for the Sustainability Award 2024 The combination of artistic-creative and scientific-technical approaches is at the centre of the inter- and transdisciplinary project "Co-CreART. Co-Creating Change" project. Together with children and young people, the CreART Lab will be developed over the next few years, a mobile educational space with various opportunities to engage with innovative ideas and possible solutions on the topics of sustainable building and living as well as climate-friendly mobility. As one of 12 projects out of 182 submissions, "Co-CreART. Co-Creating Change" came out on top in the "Learning" category.News -

Echoes of Osaka - Designing Voices in Salzburg The Association Européenne des Conservatoires, Académies de Musique et Musikhochschulen (AEC) is a trans-national organisation with the aim of networking music colleges across Europe and jointly maintaining high international standards of education. Between 5 and 8 November 2025, the AEC will hold a congress at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, which will focus on topics such as leadership, resilience, professional skills and health care within university-level music education.News -

A new home - Ziyu He Ziyu He was one of the youngest soloists in the Vienna Philharmonic when he made his debut at the Musikverein under Adam Fischer in 2017 at the age of just 18. The year before, he won both the International Mozart Competition in Salzburg and the Yehudi Menuhin Competition, and in 2014 he was the Eurovision Young Musician of the Year. He is a violinist with the renowned Altenberg Trio.News -
