News … Home News Singing in Music Education (SiME) Singing in Music Education (SiME) 01.10.2020 Researchproject SiME (Singing in Music Education) is a Special Focus Group of EAS (European Association forMusic in schools) and was founded in 2017 by Helmut Schaumberger at the EAS conference in Salzburg.

Three days of singing, dancing and making music: From 24 to 26 April, the new ORIGO festival celebrates folk music in its lively and constantly changing form at the Mozarteum University and in the city of Salzburg - and thus sees itself as a platform that not only preserves folk music, but also makes it possible to experience it in all its dynamism and creativity.

Independent scientific publications, peer-reviewed conference papers and teaching assignments at renowned institutions: Our students contribute significantly to representing the Mozarteum University in artistic-scientific research and pedagogy in music theory nationally and internationally. The working focus of Salzburg Music History has set itself the goal of making information on Salzburg's music history easily accessible through overviews and archival materials, and to update this information on an ongoing basis. In addition, there are publications and numerous events such as workshops, symposia and guided tours.
