Andreas Weber studied piano at the Musikhochschule in Cologne and at the Mozarteum Salzburg. An intensive concert schedule has taken him throughout Europe and Asia, where he has performed as a soloist and chamber musician; his partners include the Trio Cartellieri and the violinist Albert Fischer. He has held numerous masterclasses at music universities in Seoul and Gwangju (Korea), Shenzhen and Guangzhou (China), at the National Academy of Music in Hanoi, and in Belgium. Andreas Weber has taught piano at the Mozarteum University since 2002, and in 2005 was appointed director of the Leopold Mozart Institute, supporting gifted young students in their artistic development as well as promoting their talents through concert performances on an international level.
