Following a Prix Ars Electronica last year and the European Youth Culture Award in the Science and Research category, this is the third major award for the research project
A collaboration of the MediaLab of the Mozarteum University, the artist group gold extra in cooperation with the Neue Mittelschule Salzburg-Lehen and the program area "Contemporary Art and Cultural Production" of the cooperation focus IE Science and Art.
The mixed reality game series "Black Day" takes players and viewers into a world that combines elements of board games, adventure games, media art and comics. The students developed their own live game format for this, in which you enter a creepy house, escape the insidious traps of a crazy school or have to find your way as an influencer in the jungle of shady products.
The project is led by Sonja Prlić (gold extra, IE Science and Art, University Mozarteum), Karl Zechenter (gold extra) and Iwan Pasuchin.
