With the Moz-Art-Zone, the Mozarteum University will offer an expanded music and art education program starting in the winter semester of 2022/23 with an interdisciplinary offering that aims to awaken enthusiasm and interest in students and opens the doors of the university wide for this purpose.

Data whispers: Making the invisible visible. Salzburg AG endeavours to promote artistic exploration of the topic of ‘energy’. The Salzburg AG Art Prize for students of the Mozarteum University Salzburg is intended to honour outstanding projects in the field of visual arts and make a lasting contribution to artistic reflection.

Approximately 800 of the 1800 Mozarteum students receive pedagogical training. Accordingly, synergies between the departments involved are important, as they were created in 2012 by the School of Music and Arts Education (SOMA).

Hanna Binder is an actress, performance artist and musician who is at home on stage and in film. Since 1st of September, she has been bringing her passion for bodywork and authentic stage presence to the Mozarteum in Salzburg as a university professor. With a wealth of experience in theatre, film and dance, Binder now dedicates herself to promoting young talent, always with a focus on the physical expressiveness and humanity that makes theatre so special.

On June 23, the touch-down event of the Sustainability Challenge took place at WU Vienna, where Mozarteum students Eva-Maria Sallinger and Lena-Maria Schuster presented their annual project. The Sustainability Challenge recently won the international "SDG Education Programme of the Year".
