Once again this year, the Thomas Bernhard Institute opened its doors & theatre for #summercamp24: 25 teenagers and young adults immersed themselves in the world of theatre, but above all in everyday life at drama school, under the direction of Renate Aichinger from 7 to 12 July 2024: What is it like to study at the Mozarteum? What exactly do you learn there? And most importantly for some: how do the entrance exams work?

W. A. Mozart's composition Adagio in F minor (KV 594) for an organ work in a clock becomes a synesthetic experience in the project Shift, materially visible, audible and tangible. The result was presented in a textile-acoustic concert on July 18.

From A for Applied Theatre to Z for Zither - more than 2,000 highly talented students from 70 countries devote themselves to the arts, their mediation and their exploration at the Mozarteum University together with 550 teachers.

A woman and her istrument share their performative expolrations ans examine the possibilities of lament. What can they archieve, given that every sound refracts the sctructural suffering of an inhuman border regime? Do we find something like hope ans even resistance in musical action?
