Paul Feigelfeld has been a university professor for digitality and cultural mediation at the Institute for Open Arts at the Mozarteum University since October. He researches transcultural approaches to the history of media and knowledge, critical perspectives on technologies and their interfaces with art and design.

Folk music research in the Alps

A joint concert evening by teachers and students of the Innsbruck Music Pedagogy and the Landeskonservatorium with a joint presentation of works. Under the motto "Humour in Music", a wide variety of pieces will be performed in a humorous and creative way.

Organised by the Austrian Society for Music and Medicine (ÖGfMM) in cooperation with the University Mozarteum (Department Innsbruck) and the Provincial Music Directorate at the Office of the Tyrolean Provincial Government (Conference Director: Isabel Gabbe)

Students of music education in Innsbruck present a colourful and varied concert programme. Works by a wide variety of composers and epochs will be presented, and students from all semesters will perform in a wide variety of ensembles.

In the chamber music concerts, students from all classes across the departments present a varied programme in different instrumentations. Great masterpieces as well as interesting discoveries of chamber music from all epochs from duo to octet and beyond.

This workshop weekend offers an ideal supplement to your own preparation. In a group rotation principle, all important areas of the licensing exam are taken with a focus on ear training and tone setting.
