The diverse offerings of the Mozarteum University include publications from the disciplines of music, performing & visual arts, scenography, music & dance education, research, liberal arts, and interdisciplinary.

On November 3, the highly endowed Ö1 Talent Scholarship for Visual Arts was awarded at the Leopold Museum. The audience award of Ö1 listeners went to Angelika Wienerroither, who studies photography and painting at the Department of Fine Arts and Design. She wins a free participation in the "Artist Statement" at Parallel Vienna 2023.

After a break due to corona, the Department of Fine Arts and Design is finally opening its workshops and studios again: from April 6 to 8, interested parties will have the opportunity to gain insights into the diverse work of young artists and to try their hand at numerous workshops. Concerts and performances round off the program. The Tour 2022 will be accompanied by a charity art sale for Ukraine.

schnitt # stellen is an interdisciplinary project that incorporates perspectives from artistic research as well as cultural and media pedagogical research. Since October 2022, the Moz-Art-Zone has been offering an interdisciplinary music and art education program that arouses enthusiasm and interest among students and opens the doors of the university wide for this purpose. On November 30, 2022, the first large Christmas Carol Sing Along choir concert took place with 150 Salzburg students.

Christopher Lindinger is an innovation researcher, computer scientist and cultural manager. He was co-founder of the Futurelab at Ars Electronica in Linz and co-director of the Ars Electronica Media Lab until he was appointed Vice Rector at JKU Linz in 2019. On October 1, 2023, he will take up a professorship for Art & Digitality at the Mozarteum University.
