Alessandro Misciasci

Alessandro Misciasci studied piano at the Conservatory “A. Steffani” in Castelfranco Veneto. In 1985, during the Summer Academy in Salzburg, he met Paul Schilhawsky, who invited him to the Mozarteum University the following year as a Lied accompanist. Since then, he has worked there as a répétiteur and collaborative pianist. He has accompanied numerous courses taught by renowned opera singers, including Josef Greindl and Elisabeth Schwarzkopf, and has served as a musical assistant in several productions at the Salzburg Festival, working closely with Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Riccardo Muti, Zubin Mehta, Daniele Gatti, Gianandrea Noseda and Christian Thielemann.
