Maria Anisimova is a librarian at the Mozarteum University Salzburg and a trained clarinettist, saxophonist, pianist and music educator. Alongside her work in the library, she is active as a chamber musician, orchestral performer and workshop leader, with an international artistic profile spanning classical and jazz contexts.
After graduating with distinction in 2009 from the Gnessin State Musical College, Maria Anisimova began her bachelor’s degree in clarinet performance at the Mozarteum University Salzburg, where she studied with Emil Rieder. She was awarded prizes at several international competitions during her studies.
From 2012 to 2013, she studied as an Erasmus student at the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi with Sergio Delmastro.
After completing her artistic studies, she founded a chamber music and jazz project in which she works as a performer, arranger and composer. She performs regularly as a clarinettist with orchestras and has appeared in venues including the Großes Festspielhaus and the Vienna Musikverein.
