Malte Krasting has been a dramaturge at the Bavarian State Opera since 2013. After studying musicology in Hamburg and Berlin, he worked at the Meiningen State Theatre, the Komische Oper Berlin and Frankfurt Opera. He has collaborated for many years with conductor Kirill Petrenko, for whom he also works on projects with the Berlin Philharmonic. He also teaches at the Bavarian Theatre Academy August Everding and at the Mozarteum University Salzburg. He has published an introduction to Così fan tutte in the Opernführer kompakt series.
