Florentine Klepper

Florentine Klepper studied acting and opera directing in Zurich and Munich. Since 2004 she has worked as a director at renowned German-speaking theaters such as the Staatstheater Braunschweig, the Bühnen Bern, the Staatsoper Stuttgart, the Oper Graz, the Theater Freiburg, the Salzburg Easter Festival, the Semperoper Dresden and the Oper Frankfurt.
From 2009 to 2011 she was the in-house director at the Theater Basel. She also worked at the state theaters in Stuttgart and Karlsruhe and at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg. In 2018 she made her debut in France at the Opéra de Dijon.

She has been an active member of the Young Theater Rosenheim since 2020. In 2021 she completed further training in music and theater management at the LMU Munich.

Her interest in the field of musical theater applies to both the classical repertoire and contemporary music. She staged at festivals such as aDevantgarde, Festspiel Plus and the Munich Biennale and staged, among other things, music theater premieres by Moritz Eggert, Jörg Widmann, Arnulf Herrmann and Felix Leuschner.
