Hanna Keßeler graduated with distinction from the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna with a degree in rhythm and music and movement pedagogy (special and remedial education, flute). She is also a certified movement pedagogue and teaching trainer of the Franklin Method® as well as a certified music physiologist (UdK Berlin) and a certified teaching trainer in "Optimal Üben" at the HfMT Cologne.

Since 2004 she has been a lecturer at the Rheinische Musikschule in Cologne, specializing in the flute, elementary level and musicians' health. Since 2008 she has been a lecturer at the Cologne University of Music and Dance for the subjects of embodiment, dance/body training, performance coaching and the Franklin Method®. Since 2010 she has also been a consultant for further training in music schools on the subject of mental coaching, musician health, optimal practice, individual training for professional musicians and music students. Hanna Keesseler has been a lecturer at the Mozarteum University for performance, competition and audition coaching as well as physical and mental coaching since 2019. Since November 2019 she has been a board member of the German Society for Musicians' Medicine and Music Physiology (DGFMM).
