Christine Kisielewsky

Christine Kisielewsky has taught jazz and pop vocals at Mozarteum University Salzburg since 2013, at both the Salzburg and Innsbruck campuses. Alongside her university teaching, she is an active singer, keyboardist and vocal coach with an international performing career spanning jazz, pop and contemporary vocal music.
Kisielewsky studied music education, instrumental music education and classical piano pedagogy at Mozarteum University Salzburg before completing a master's degree in Popular Music (voice and keyboard) at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna in 2010, graduating with distinction and receiving the university's award for best graduate.
As a singer and keyboardist, she performs regularly in Austria and internationally. Her collaborators include Conchita Wurst, Leroy Emmanuel, Bobby McFerrin, Gunkl, Christian Kolonovits, Marianne Mendt, Richard Österreicher, Wolfgang Puschnig and Willi Resetarits, and she has released several albums. Since 2005, she has been soloist and vocal coach of the Favorhythm Gospelsingers. She has also been a member of the vocal comedy group DIE ECHTEN since 2011, appearing with the ensemble in the final of the television competition Die große Chance der Chöre in 2015 and in regular performances as HardChor at the ORF Cabaret Summit. With her own projects, CK 4-TETT and LEELAH SKY, she released debut albums in 2013 and 2016 respectively, and in 2017 was named one of Austria's 30 best songwriters.
From 2009 to 2016, Kisielewsky taught jazz and pop vocals and piano at the Vienna Conservatory, where she also headed the Pop Department from 2012 to 2016. She has also taught at Salzburg University College of Teacher Education (PH Salzburg), and is regularly invited to lead workshops and work as a vocal coach.
