Elisabeth Freiss has been Professor of Subject Didactics in Design:Technology.Textiles at Mozarteum University since 2017. Her research focuses on the role of handicrafts and fashion in the construction of gender and national identities, as well as on do-it-yourself and do-it-together practices.
