80th Anniversary: End of the war and the founding of the Republic

On 8th May 2025, we will commemorate the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. Today more than ever, it is imperative that we keep alive the memory of what happened 80 years ago and strive to preserve peace and democracy. The Mozarteum University will be holding a series of commemorative events throughout the year of remembrance, which will look back at the beginnings of the Second Republic and explore how this period still shapes events today.
