PR & Marketing

In an interdisciplinary team, the PR & Marketing department develops and implements global communication strategies in cooperation with agencies and departments, uses numerous (digital) channels and produces content to give visibility to projects, events and much more. The department is also the point of contact for press enquiries.

    Through the Theodor Körner Award, which carries a prize of 5,000 euros, the Theodor Körner Fund supports young academics and artists. It is awarded for outstanding projects, provides direct financial support to the winners and is at their free disposal. A Theodor Körner Award has been presented to a PhD student at the Mozarteum University: the composer Noh Seung Ju.

    State Honour for Elisabeth Gutjahr 

    Elisabeth Gutjahr, former president of the Mozarteum University, was awarded the State Medal of Honor for her work as a driving force for culture and scholarship in Salzburg. She was the first female president of the Mozarteum University, which she led from April 2018 to March 2026. We extend our warmest congratulations!
