The program includes works by the youngest son of Bach, Johann Christian, who worked in London, the Englishman Thomas Linley, who studied in Florence, the aging Giovanni Battista Sammartini in Milan, and Christian Cannabich, the concertmaster of the “Idomeneo” in Munich in 1781.

“KRISE” is the name of the Kuss Quartet’s current CD, named after the piece of the same name written for the quartet in 2022 by the composer Birke Bertelsmeier. This music, which is strongly influenced by the events of 2022, is placed in the context of Mozart's string quintets.

Study concerts (or "class evenings") are concerts in which students of the Mozarteum University perform on stage. They are either organised as part of courses or by the respective departments - and can be experienced with free admission.

City walks and printmaking workshops in Riedenburg and Maxglan join forces to rediscover the familiar, to assert new points of identification in the local environment, and as a change of perspective on our own living space that surrounds us.
