Sweet Spot: J1407b. Raphaël Languillat im Porträt
(Location: Galerie FÜNFZIGZWANZIG) Raphaël Languillat is a French composer, electronic musician, and curator. He works primarily with modular synthesizers and amplified acoustic instruments. His live sets and compositions are characterized by a powerful physical and psychological impact. By using space as a compositional element, he creates immersive soundscapes with multichannel sound systems that transform both the perception of the architecture and the audience’s experience.

    Lena Grossmann: on MIMETIC BODIES
(Location: Unipark Nonntal, Dance Studio) With *MIMETIC BODIES*, choreographer and visual artist Lena Grossmann presents her research project of the same name, which explores interpersonal relationships as well as strategies of physical translation and communication. At the intersection of dance and visual art, she explores the role that mimetic—or imitative—approaches play in dealing with everyday gestures and how these give rise to new performative, social, and situational spaces.
