Students of the gifted and talented programme perform solo and chamber music works

Pre-college students play solistic and chamber music works in various instrumentations.

The Aspekte Salzburg Festival was founded in 1977 and takes place every two years in spring. The festival is dedicated to the works of Austrian and international composers of the 20th century and offers a wide range of opportunities to engage with contemporary music.

The German composer Frank Schwemmer (born 1963) specialises in singable contemporary choral music. Two years ago, he was commissioned by the Mozarteum University to write a commentary on Mozart's Requiem KV 626.

Excerpts from the memoirs of the artist's grandmother and great-grandmother were illustrated with the help of watercolors, creating exciting and emotional insights into the lives of two generations.

A standard work of 17th century Protestant church music will be performed as a co-operation between the Departments of Early Music and Conducting, Choir & Wind Orchestra Conducting.
