7 world premieres and all works composed by Mozart in 1791, the year of his death. This is the ambitious program that the newly founded Mozart Forum of the Mozarteum University has set itself for 2021, starting with a production of the opera "La clemenza di Tito," which will premiere on February 1 without an audience, but in a livestream.

Mayumi Hirasaki (Univ.-Prof. of Baroque Violin) is honored in the category “Concert Recording of the Year” for her CD “Pisendel” with Concerto Köln on the Berlin Classic label, Max Volbers (Senior Lecturer at the Department of Early Music) in the category “ Young Artist of the Year” for his CD “Whispers of Tradition” on the Genuin label.

The State of Salzburg/Department for Art and Culture is again awarding scholarships (in the amount of the course fee) for attending the International Summer Academy of Fine Arts from 22 July to 31 August 2024.

The Ö1 Talent Scholarship for Visual Arts in the amount of 10,000 euros, provided by Wiener Städtische Versicherungsverein, is being offered by Ö1 for the 16th time this year. The prize serves to promote young talent among students at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, the University of Applied Arts Vienna, the Linz University of Art and the Mozarteum University.

Anastasiia Larina receives scholarship from the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs (BMEIA). She comes from Kherson/Ukraine and has been studying the MA Applied Theater - Critical Theater Practice and Community at the Thomas Bernhard Institute of the Mozarteum University since 2023.

Anna Barbara Kastelewicz, a graduate of the Department of Musicology at the Mozarteum University, was recently honoured with the Award of Excellence for her dissertation on "Music, culture and cultural activities in the special camps of the Soviet occupying power 1945 - 1950 in the Soviet Occupation Zone and the GDR". Congratulations!

The University Mozarteum Salzburg is looking for art practitioners to enroll in the PhD in the Arts, a doctoral programme in artistic research. Artists from any field of practice are encouraged to apply, including but not limited to music, the visual arts, theatre, dance, film, digital media, and design.

In its final year, the Spot On MozART is entirely dedicated to the "Spot On" moment: analogue and digital media, festivals, conferences, fairs - the Spot On moment is concerned with the presentation and positioning of the projects in public space.
