5 years of Applied Theatre - we're celebrating with Open University XL! A week of LaborX, stand-up lectures, open spaces, coming and going, eating and drinking, playing and talking at Franz-Josef-Straße 2!

Off to the most exciting night of the year. At the Long Night of Research on 24 May 2024, current projects, the latest findings and technologies will be presented in an understandable and vivid way at around 100 stations in the city of Salzburg and Puch-Urstein - live and with free admission.

The German bass-baritone Peter Ullrich is Professor of Singing at the Department of Music Education in Innsbruck. To mark his retirement, musical companions from the last 40 years will perform a concert evening.

The concert takes the audience on a musical journey through the Renaissance and early Baroque periods. The elegant and subtle instrumental voices revitalise the rich tradition of music from past eras and explore the variety of styles and forms of expression of this period.

Together with pianist Chih-Hung Chang, Takanari Koyama explores the sound worlds between piano and double bass. The programme includes Franz Schubert: Arpeggione Sonata, Giovanni Bottesini: Capriccio di bravura and Reinhold Glière: Four pieces for double bass and piano
