In view of the shortage of trained teachers, which also affects the artistic subjects, pressing questions arise for music education. We cordially invite you to an action day dedicated to and reflecting on the questions for the teachers of the future.

The workshop with Sarah Loukota gives ideas on how alpine folk songs can be used in everyday school life or in children's and youth choirs. The aim is to experience in practice how to yodel with children, how and which folk songs are particularly fun.

An interactive concert with audience participation, featuring works by Max Reger and Sergei Rachmaninov, inlay improvisations on Reger's Variations and Rachmaninov's Sonata.

Karin Harather is an artist, cultural researcher, mother of four children and assistant professor at the Institute of Art and Design at the Faculty of Architecture and Spatial Planning at the Vienna University of Technology and heads the BiB-Lab / Innovation Lab for Educational Spaces in Motion.

Green Production / Addressing sustainability & ecology through dramaturgy, performance and stage narratives. Iphigenia Taxopoulou, General Secretary and co-founder of the theatre network mitos21, is a guest at the Thomas Bernhard Institute and will talk about sustainability in theatre.

Under the motto "Marveling together", the KinderUNI will take place again this year from 17-21 July. At the open afternoon at the Mozarteum University, 8- to 12-year-olds can discover their voice, engage in loop station experiments, feel the joy of movement and sounds and much more!

The concert marks the end of the intensive courses for particularly gifted children and young people. Participants of the classes Michaela Girardi (violin) and Andreas Weber (piano) will perform.
